Hiking & Adventure
Dominica has nearly 300 miles of footpaths wich make the island a haven
for hikers and nature lovers. In almost every part of the country, trails
weave their way into gorges and across valleys, climbing up to 4,000 foot
mountains.
Culture & Heritage
Dominica's rich culture comes from its mix of English, French, African,
and Carib peoples. This is evident in our food, music, dance, language,
and hospitality.
Diving & Watersports
Dominica offers many choices when it comes to watersports and scuba diving.
Kayak is a great way to discover the island. Swim in quiet river pools in
the rainforest, or snorkel on pristine reefs.
Whale & Dolphin Watching
Dominica is the Whale Watching Capital of the Caribbean. Dominica's sheer
walls disappear under the sea, creating deep sheltered bays where the Sperm
Whale loves to calve and breed.
Dining & Entertainment
Creole food is our specialty - fresh tropical fruits & vegetables, local
fish, island herbs & spices. Most of Dominica's restaurants serve up
an eclectic menu of continental and West Indian dishes.
