Dominica

Dominica (Commonwealth of Dominica) is located along the Eastern Caribbean archipelago. It's closests neighbours are Martinique to the south and Guadeloupe to the north. The islands population is around 70,000 people.

Dominica features a wealth of unspoiled nature. Tropical forest covers two thirds of the island. The high annual rainfall feeds rivers, lakes, streams, and waterfalls. Due to its volcanic nature there is extensive geothermal activity above and below sea level.

The island is still mostly populated with pre-Columbian Carib Indians. The official language is English, but a large portion of the population speaks Creole.
